1. Overview
At Sri Kshethra Shankarpura, we are committed to providing meaningful spiritual services and quality religious items to our devotees. This policy outlines the terms for refunds and cancellations across our various offerings including donations, seva bookings, and shop purchases.
2. Donations
All donations are non-refundable.
Donations made to Sri Kshethra Shankarpura are sacred offerings for religious and charitable purposes. As per religious tradition and practice:
- Donations are considered as offerings to the divine and cannot be refunded.
- Once a donation is made, it is utilized for temple maintenance, religious activities, and community welfare.
- In case of duplicate payments or technical errors, please contact us immediately for resolution.
- Donation receipts will be provided for all contributions as per applicable regulations.
3. Seva and Pooja Bookings
For seva programs, special poojas, and religious ceremonies booked through our temple, the following cancellation terms apply:
Cancellation Policy:
- 48+ hours before scheduled seva: Full refund or rescheduling available (minus any transaction fees).
- 24-48 hours before scheduled seva: 50% refund or free rescheduling to another available date.
- Less than 24 hours before scheduled seva: No refund available, but rescheduling may be considered based on circumstances.
- No-show: No refund will be provided for missed sevas without prior notice.
Rescheduling:
- Seva bookings can be rescheduled subject to availability.
- Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
- Each booking can be rescheduled only once.
- For special festival sevas, rescheduling may not be possible due to fixed religious dates.
Special Circumstances:
In case of genuine emergencies (medical emergencies, natural calamities, etc.), please contact us directly. We will review each case compassionately and may offer full rescheduling or credit for future sevas.
Temple-Initiated Cancellations:
If the temple needs to cancel or reschedule a seva due to unforeseen circumstances (religious observances, natural events, etc.), devotees will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule to any available date.
4. Shop Purchases
For items purchased from our temple shop, including religious articles, books, and merchandise:
Return Eligibility:
- Items may be returned within 7 days of delivery.
- Products must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
- A valid order confirmation and reason for return is required.
Non-Returnable Items:
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:
- Prasad and blessed items - Due to their sacred nature
- Perishable goods - Food items, flowers, etc.
- Customized or personalized items - Items made to order
- Opened or used items - Items that have been unsealed or used
- Items purchased during sales or with discounts - Final sale items
Refund Process:
- Contact us with your order details and reason for return.
- Upon approval, ship the item back to us (return shipping costs may apply).
- Refund will be processed within 7-10 business days after receiving the returned item.
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method.
Damaged or Defective Items:
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the damage. We will arrange for a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.

To initiate a refund or cancellation request:

- For shop returns, include photographs of the item.
