Sri Kshethra Shankarpura is pleased to offer shipping of religious items, prasad, and spiritual merchandise from our temple shop. We take great care in packaging and shipping sacred items to ensure they reach you in perfect condition, carrying the divine blessings from our temple.

2. Shipping Locations

Domestic Shipping (Within India):

We ship to all states and union territories across India. Our temple is located in Shankarpura, Karnataka, and we use reliable courier partners to ensure safe delivery of your orders.

International Shipping:

We currently offer limited international shipping to select countries. Please contact us before placing an international order to confirm availability and shipping costs to your location. Note that international orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes in the destination country.

3. Order Processing

Orders are processed Monday through Saturday. Orders placed on Sundays or religious holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Processing time may be extended during:

  • Major festivals and religious occasions
  • High-demand periods
  • For customized or specially blessed items

4. Delivery Timeline

Delivery times vary based on your location. Generally:

  • Within Karnataka: Fastest delivery
  • South India: Standard delivery time
  • Rest of India: Extended delivery time based on distance
  • Remote/Rural areas: May take longer due to courier accessibility
  • International: Subject to customs and international shipping timelines

Note: Actual delivery times may vary due to courier delays, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances. You will receive estimated delivery dates at the time of checkout.

5. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Delivery location and distance
  • Package weight and dimensions
  • Type of items ordered

The exact shipping cost will be displayed before you confirm your order. For international orders, additional customs duties and taxes may apply at the destination country.

6. Special Handling for Sacred Items

We understand the sacred nature of religious items and take special care in their handling and packaging:

  • Prasad and blessed items: Carefully packed with protective materials and clear labeling as sacred items.
  • Idols and murtis: Securely wrapped with bubble wrap and cushioning to prevent damage during transit.
  • Perishable prasad: Shipped with priority service and appropriate packaging. Available only for select pin codes.
  • Books and publications: Packed in moisture-resistant packaging.

7. Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, you will receive:

  • Email confirmation with tracking number
  • SMS notification (if phone number is provided)
  • Link to track your shipment on the courier partner's website

You can also contact us with your order number to inquire about your shipment status.

8. Delivery Instructions

  • Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address to receive the package.
  • Provide accurate and complete address details including landmarks and PIN code.
  • Keep your phone accessible as the delivery person may call for directions.
  • Check the package for any visible damage before accepting delivery.
  • If the package appears damaged, please note it on the delivery receipt and inform us immediately.

9. Failed Delivery Attempts

If delivery cannot be completed:

  • The courier will attempt delivery up to 2-3 times.
  • After failed attempts, the package will be held at the nearest courier facility for pickup.
  • If unclaimed, the package will be returned to us.
  • Re-shipping charges may apply for returned packages.

10. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your package arrives damaged:

  1. Take photographs of the damaged package and items
  2. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  3. We will arrange for replacement or refund

Lost Shipments: If your tracking shows no movement for more than 7 days or indicates the package is lost, please contact us. We will investigate with the courier and provide a replacement or refund as appropriate.

11. Address Changes

If you need to change the delivery address after placing an order:

  • Contact us immediately before the order is shipped.
  • Address changes after shipping may not be possible and could incur additional charges.
  • We are not responsible for deliveries to incorrect addresses provided by customers.
